INITIAL SITUATION

In 2002 the central Headquarters changed the values and had a year trying unsuccessfully to implement them. They had the challenge to transform their culture into a culture based on values, with a requirement in time to implement the new culture, defined by Headquarters.

RESULTS
  • First measurement before starting the program:
    • 10% of respondents (statistically valid sample) remembered the new values.
    • 5% of corporate respondents understood the meaning of the new values.
  • Second measurement 4 months after first one:
    • 80% of respondents remembered the new values.
    • 65% of corporate respondents understood the meaning of the new values

There are still people who remember the acronym EMIT created to facilitate the recall of values.
